Guess the project!

 Quick post today....

I've spent some time this week spraying and masking 4 M113s for the next new project.  This one is actually more progressed than what I'll be showing today, but this is where this part of the project is at.

First one to correctly identify the correct nationality of these vehicles sadly wins nothing but brief fame on this blog.  Hopefully correct identification also means I got the colours correct.

Please bear in mind these are work-in-progress shots - just the first base coats have been finished.

Here we go:

Good Luck!

    1. Give that man a gold medal! Well done. I'll take that as an indicator the colours are basically right.
      Thanks

  2. beat me to it...having gone through a bunch of Canucks for a 4CMBG project, I would only add that for the black you could get away with VJ995 to give it a bit of a worn down look. The colours look pretty good, good luck.

    1. Hopefully by the end of painting they will look weathered and a little worn out. Still a fair way to go on them for now. Thanks

  3. Looks like I was beaten to the punch, but they look Canadian to me too ;)

I particularly like how laden the wagons are. Too clean always strikes me as unrealistic, as even in peacetime exercises our tracks ended up laden with packs and assorted boxes.

    1. Thanks - I always find it hard to stow them so it strikes the right balance of looking right, not too much gypsy caravan to be practical and not to clean to look fake.

  4. Are they to be part of the Norway project as elements of the CAST Brigade Group?

I remember being excited to find in GDW's Arctic Front: the Battle for Norway a solitary Canadian counter - representing a brigade committed to defend Norway!

  5. I was planning on using these more for Central Europe, but you're right, they can be used as part of the CAST Brigade Group as well. Once I get my 3D printer I plan on printing off a whole range of Cougars and Grizzly's for CAST.
